Pooja Sabarinath

Pooja Sabarinath , born in India, started her dance training at the age of 22. She graduated in dance from Attakalari Centre for movement arts and mixed media in the year 2015-2017 . In the period 2019- 2022 Daphna participated in a professional dance training program in Contemporary Dance School Hamburg and after her successful graduation she is now looking forward to begin her career in the movement arts world.

Prior to moving to Germany for her higher studies Pooja worked as a Freelance movement artist in Bangalore in the capacity of Dance facilitator and performer. She has also been part of physical theatre performances in Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business management and had worked with one of the leading Investment Banks, her tryst with dance began post this. Bringing both her areas of expertise together she also found opportunities to work in the management team of Attakalari.

Pooja is also trained in Kathak, an Indian Classical dance form under the able Guidance of her Guru´s Shri Hari and Smt.Chethana. She has also completed her Rang manch Pravesh under ICCR´s Every Friday Programme.
