E.D.C on Tour in Brazil 2025

E.D.C. – EurAsia Dance Company is back this July on tour in San Paolo, Brazil, with the successful performance Svarupa-vyakta, part of the EurAsia Repertory.
 
The E.D.C. tour in San Paolo is brought by EurAsia Dance Project International Network, directed by Stefano Fardelli, in partnership with DANCEHAUSpiù (Italy), supported by the Italian Cultural Institute of San Paolo, and organized by Luana Marini Bellisari who is a part of the EurAsia Team and in charge for the collaboration of the Network in South America.

Svarupa – vyakta is a highly successful solo choreographed and originally also danced by Stefano Fardelli, who since 2014 has taken the piece on tour all over the world, also gaining important international recognition and awards.

Today the solo, inspired by a trip to India made by the choreographer in 2013, is danced by EurAsia Dancer Marco Hernandez, originally from Mexico and part of the E.D.C. – EurAsia Dance Company since 2023.

The choreography is based on the dialectic between the dancer and five balloons that represent the projection of “the Self” .

Both words in fact, svarupa and vyakta , although in a different way, mean “the Self” in Sanskrit.

In 2023, Stefano Fardelli created a duet version of the solo that became Svarupa & Vyakta, for the E.D.C. – EurAsia Dance Company, danced by Marco Hernandez (Mexico) and Jesus Rea, EurAsia Dancer from Bolivia.
