the Artistic Team

The E.D.C. is made up of the EurAsia Dancers – dancers selected from across all five continents through the EurAsia Auditions On Tour, which take place every year in Africa, South America, the Middle East and Asia. EurAsia’s mission is to bring opportunities for study and career development to the world’s most disadvantaged and dangerous countries, where, due to war and/or socio-health-political-economic-religious reasons, it is not possible to pursue a career in this field. The most talented are rewarded and supported with scholarships that enable them to train at Europe’s leading academies, where, after three school years, they have the chance to enter the professional world through further opportunities offered by the Network, or to work with the world’s leading international dance companies, and some of them may be selected to join the EurAsia Dance Company, which tours all over the world. This means that the E.D.C.’ s members truly embodies a multicultural spirit, bringing together diverse bodies and qualities of movement belonging to dancers who truly come from all five corners of the globe.
