Marco Hernández, originally from Mexico is a member of the EDC- EurAsia Dance Company as dancer and costume designer. He performs the repertory of the EurAsia Dance Project International Network directed by Stefano Fardelli.

Marco is one of the dancers who have been part of both the founding process of the E.D.C. and the creation of the first two pieces for its repertoire in 2023 – Ommanipadmehum and Svarupa & Vyakta – which have been touring the world ever since their debut in India in February 2023.

He has also worked as a dancer and costume designer for Tanz Company Gervasi in 7×7 Molle and with the National Production Center- DanceHaus Piú in Brass Street Parade. 

Marco Hernández started his training as a dancer with Graham Technique at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico-UNAM. He then undertook a university education in Earth Sciences at the UNAM. During this time he also participated in science symposiums and workshops of climate change and urban gardens in rural communities for the Actua-DF programme. 

Following this, he pursued another degree in Contemporary Dance at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes- INBA and continued his classical training at the Cameratta de Ballet in Mexico City.

His professional career started at the Government of Mexico as a Cultural Sponsor for Art Festivals. 

Marco graduated as EurAsia Student at DanceHaus – Accademia Susanna Beltrami of Milan, EurAsia Partner in Italy.
