Tavishi Pownikar, originally from India, is a member part of the EurAsia Dance Company as rehearsal director and assistant for Stefano Fardelli.

Tavishi graduated in 2024 after her three years professional program as EurAsia Student at DanceHaus – Accademia Susanna Beltrami of Milan, Italy, partner of the EurAsia Dance Project International Network ETS, directed by Stefano Fardelli. 

She debuted as a choreographer with ‘Moksha’ at MILANoLTRE Festival 2024, where it was awarded a residency to develop the piece further and present it at the 2025 edition of the festival.

As a dancer she has worked with choreographers such as Susanna Beltrami, Enzo Cosimi, Stefano Ghidetti and Silvia Fontana. Apart from contemporary dance, she also collaborate as dancer and choreographer for Indian folk and bollywood dances with MeYoTai Danza.

Based in Milan, Tavishi has been recently selected for joining the E.D.C. and to follow up the work of the company.
