Tejaswini Loundo

Tejaswini Loundo, originally from India is a member of the EDC- EurAsia Dance Company as a dancer and performing the repertory of the EurAsia Dance Project International Network directed by Stefano Fardelli.

Tejaswini began her dance training at an early age with Kathak (an Indian Classical dance) which she has been practising now for over 12 years. She holds a 2-year Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media in Bangalore at Attakkalari Center for Movement Arts where she trained in contemporary dance and other Indian movement arts like Bharatnatyam, Kalaripayattu, etc. In 2019, she was selected and awarded a partial scholarship by the Eurasia Dance Project International Network to pursue professional contemporary dance training at Accademia Susanna Beltrami (Milan, Italy).

As choreographer, she premiered with her solo MŪL-SĀKHYA at Gdansk Solo Dance Contest 2022 in Poland.

Besides dance, Tejaswini is also passionate about literature. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with her final thesis research on the Interplay between dance and literature.

Tejaswini views dance as philosophy: a space for escaping into a world of creative realities for the art, the artist and the audience.
