Bio
Born in Barcelona, Renedo is a dancer, actor, singer, and aerial artist. He made his musical theatre debut in Víctor/Victoria (Stage Entertainment), and has since appeared in Mamma Mia! (Stage Entertainment), Quisiera Ser (Spectalia Producciones), and The Addams Family (LetsGo). Most recently, he played Joseph Smith, Mormon and understudied Elder McKinley in The Book of Mormon (ATG Entertainment), awarded Best Musical in Spain in 2024. Renedo’s acting work includes Adiós Arturo (La Cubana) and the TV series El 10 en la Espalda. He spent a decade in New York City, performing three seasons at the Metropolitan Opera House and working with various contemporary and neoclassical dance companies. His aerial silks act in the Off-Broadway production Wearing Lorca’s Bowtie was noted by The New York Times. He later toured internationally for six years with Les Ballets Trockadero, performing in 40 countries, and is the founder of Ballet de Barcelona, where he served as CEO and Executive Director, leading Artistic Production for five years.
