/// MŪL-SĀKHYA
premiere in Poland
The solo is by EurAsia Dancer Tejaswini Loundo, originally from India.
The piece displays the beautiful relationship between ‘nayika’ (a classic Indian heroine) and her ‘nupura’ (ankle bells). The choreography unfolds as they are having a conversation; through their affection and separation emerges their spiritual relationship. The nupura are her faithful companions and it can be said that through dancing they become an extension of each other.
EurAsia Artistic Director selected MŪL-SĀKHYA for this year’s collaboration with EurAsia Partner Gdansk Solo Dance Contest, in Poland.
Every year Stefano Fardelli selects one of the EurAsia Dancers that will directly join the contest along with the other selected participants coming from all over the world.
Tejaswini just completed her three year professional program at the EurAsia Partner DanceHaus Accademia Susanna Beltrami of Milan, Italy, who also supported her solo dance project.
