Crossroads is an intersection of roads, bodies, ideas, minds, languages between Europe and four countries/continents of the world with which we intended to build new paths, to accompany artistic researches, exchange of practices between operators, creation of new choreographic works in a dimension that favours multicultural and human dialogue.

After their artistic residencies in India, Mexico, Senegal and Lebanon, the four dancers of Crossroads will meet for the first time “live” in Belgium for one more artistic residency, where Stefano Fardelli, creator, as well as pillar, of this large and varied project such as Crossroads, will work with them for stitching together their solos into the final piece that will be presented on the 18th.

For Crossroads #inhabitingtheworld we have selected four dancers from Italy, India and Poland who, through a path of artistic research, exchange of practices, performances and talks, they all will travel to other countries meeting new cultures.

A multidisciplinary artist has been selected for each local community of the extra-European countries involved who will accompany each choreographer in his artistic process, crossing their respective research paths and generating a new original creation.

Four different operators will follow the dancers and local artists in their path with the role of tutoring and mentoring, accompanying them in htheir residences and in their creative process and documenting the work in progress.
